i have one nice, simple rule tell the blunt, honest truth in the ,starkest and darkest way. and what will be, will be. what will be, should be. and everyone else is a coward. someone cowardly should not call someone an idiot. people aren't tactful or polite just because it's nice. they do it because they've got an ounce of humility. because they know that they will make mistakes, and they know that their actions have consequences, and they know that those consequences are their fault. i think that the only truth that matters is that truth can be measured. good intentions don't count. what's in your heart doesn't count. caring doesn't count. but a persons life can be measured by how many tears are shed when he dies. and just because you can't measure the tears does not mean they are not there to be measured.

So you really do go by spooky, that's pretty rad- I thought that was just what my brother referred to you as. It's so wild to see you kids (kids, because I am ANCIENT already, I can use that word! Feeeel the patronizing) grow up and get so godawful pretty.

The notion of picking one time of year to be decent to other people is obscene because it's actually validating the notion of being miserable wretches the rest of the year.
